No. The opening is cut cleanly to size and the stone is set with proper masonry technique, the same way lintels and sills have been set in brick walls for a century. The finished install is weather-tight.
Yes. Most installs are into plain brick with no existing stone. If you do have an old, worn address stone, we can replace it with a new one in the same spot.
Typically one visit of a few hours. The stone is carved ahead of time, so installation day is just the masonry work.
